Wendilyn JensenCrystal Thiriot
Board Chair

Crystal Thiriot originally came to Las Vegas 13 years ago to teach for the Clark County School District.  She earned her Elementary Education degree from Southern Utah University and taught at Lois Craig Elementary in North Las Vegas for 3 years.  She is now a stay-at-home mom. 


Crystal is married to Jason and they have 5 children.  Her three school-aged children love attending Somerset Academy!  She enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her family and playing sports.

 

DingeeDana Dingee, Jr.

Dana Dingee, Jr. is currently an Application Developer Consultant employed at United Health. He graduated from UNLV in 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Science  in Management Information Systems.  Dana is fan of all Runnin’Rebel Athletics programs and attends as many games as he can with his family.

He was born in Southern California and moved to Las Vegas with his family as a young boy.  Dana has been married to his wife for over nine years and they have three children ages eight, six, and four.

 

 

Laura Baer BoggessEric Elison

Eric is currently Chief Geotechnical Engineer in the Las Vegas office of Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical and Environmental Sciences Consultants. Eric graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering and has more than 15 years of professional experience providing geotechnical engineering services for municipal, federal, military, and private sector projects. Eric is registered as a Professional Civil Engineer in Nevada, Utah, and California, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Society of Military Engineers, and American Public Works Association. He is also a part-time adjunct instructor in the Construction Management Program of the College of Engineering at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Eric has been married for 20 years and has four children ages 17, 15, 6, and 4. Eric hung out and worked for many years at a ski resort and is a ski bum at heart. But he also enjoys spending time with his family, as well as hiking, running, and mountain biking when the snow is all gone.

 

Laura Baer BoggessScott Hammond

Scott has been married for 18 years and has 3 children ages 10, 5, and 3. He is currently serving as an Assemblyman in the Nevada Legislature. Scott has taught high school Spanish and Government for the past 11 years, and coaches the Girl's Varsity Basketball team. He also teaches Political Science courses at UNLV.

 

 

 

Laura Baer BoggessAmy Malone

Amy Malone has lived in Las Vegas for most of her life.  She graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from UNLV in 2002.  She went on to teach 3rd grade for the Clark County School District for 7 years during which time she earned her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix  and met and married her husband Jason.  They have 4 beautiful, rambunctious children, ages 11, 3, 2, and a new born. 

As much as she loved teaching, Amy decided to take on a new challenge as a stay at home mom after the birth of her third child.  Amy loves spending time with her family, reading, playing volleyball, piano, and being outdoors.

 

CodyNobleCody Noble

Cody is a partner at the law firm of McDonald Carano Wilson, LLP and focuses his legal practice on federal and state tax planning, corporate law, business transactions, trust administration, estate planning and the law of tax-exempt organizations. Cody earned a Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) degree at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law and a Juris Doctor degree from Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Prior to his legal studies, Cody earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Southern Utah University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Mr. Noble has also served as intern for the Utah Supreme Court.

Cody has been married for 14 years and has five children, four of whom attend Somerset Academy. Cody enjoys cycling, golf, soccer and spending time with his family.
