My name is Brittney Erickson and I teach full day kindergarten at Somerset Academy.  I have lived in Henderson my entire life, and never plan on leaving. I graduated from Nevada State College with a degree in Elementary Education. My senior year I had an amazing opportunity to take on a yearlong apprenticeship at Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy, teaching 4th grade. This is my third year teaching Kindergarten. I absolutely love and adore this age group. At this young age they are like sponges and it is amazing to see the growth they make in such a short period of time. Outside of school I love to spend time with my husband, family, and my two sweet dogs, Cash and Pistol. 

My name is Kelly Hoppe and this is my third year teaching Kindergarten and my second year at Somerset Academy.  I graduated from UNLV in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in education.  I will be attending UNLV this fall to get my Master’s in Education. I enjoy teaching Kindergarteners because they are so eager to learn, and every day I see the kids it puts a smile on my face. I moved to Las Vegas with my family seven years ago from Southwest Michigan. During my free time I enjoy watching and rooting for my favorite Chicago teams.
